If your license has expired but you already have an installation in place, you need to replace it with a new one. There are a few steps you need to follow, let's start.

Windows

  1. Open Windows Services and stop this service: Newired Portal, by right-clicking on it and selecting Stop.

2. Replace the license with the new one you have received. You can find it in <Tomcat folder>\conf. Remember that the license always ends with "newired.license", while the initial characters can change according to the license

  1. Go back in Windows Services and start both the services you previously stopped, by right-clicking on them and selecting Start.

Now you have updated your license and can continue using Newired.

CentOS

  1. Open the terminal and type the command "systemctl stop newired".
  2. Replace the license with the new one you have received. You can find it in <Tomcat folder>\conf. Remember that the license always ends with "newired.license", while the initial characters can change according to the license.

  1. In the terminal and type the command "systemctl restart newired".
  2. In the terminal and type the command "systemctl status newired". The status of the Newired service should look like the image below.

Now you have updated your license and can continue using Newired.
