Welcome to Newired! Follow these steps to get started with Newired.
By completing these steps, you’ll set up your environment and begin creating and deploying content seamlessly.
Step 1: Access the Newired Portal
Open the portal link you received in your email.
Log in using the credentials provided.
Step 2: Create a New Site
Navigate to the Sites section in the portal.
Create a new site by clicking on "create site" and entering the application link for the website or platform where you want to use Newired.
Step 3: Download and Install the Newired Editor
Go to the Download tab in the portal.
Download the Newired Editor installation file.
Install the Editor on your system by running the downloaded file.
Step 4: Log into the Newired Editor
Open the Newired Editor after installation.
Select the option to Log on as Customer.
Enter the portal link (not the application link) and use the same credentials you used for the portal.
Optionally, you can create additional user credentials for your team by accessing the User section in the portal as an admin.
Step 5: Configure the Editor
In the Editor, add the home application link for the application you registered on the portal. The Editor functions as a browser.
You’re now ready to start creating content!
Step 6: Install the Browser Extension
Go to the Deployment tab in the portal.
Download the Newired browser extension from this section.
Important: Do not install the extension directly from Google. Use the one provided in the portal, as it is pre-configured for your application.
Step 7: Set Content to Active
In the Editor, change the status of the created content from Draft to Active.
Step 8: Publish Content
Go to the portal and navigate to the Publishing tab.
Publish the content by setting it as Live.
Step 9: Verify on the Live Production Site
Open the live production site and reload it a few times. Note that it may take longer for the extension to load the first time, so please be patient.
Once loaded, the Newired launcher will appear, and your content will be active and ready for use. Note that without any published content, the launcher will not be visible on your application.
