What are the Playbooks?

With Playbooks, we enable content authors to create checklists, or chapters, of journeys that the user wants or needs to do, in order to be properly onboarded.

The Playbooks are available straight away when the user opens the Launcher:

Once you click on a Playbook row, you get to the Playbook view showing all the journeys that are contained inside.

If the journey is set as invisible to the user, then it is shown in grey color and user cannot play it. There is a tooltip which appears when hovering the journey title (image below).

Users can click on the Back button to get back to the main Launcher view and still launch journeys as they are used to.

Playbooks also keep track of the journeys that the user has already completed and show the overall Playbook progress in percentage. Each journey in the Playbook list has a checkbox showing whether the user has completed that specific journey or not. These boxes can be manually checked/unchecked by the user.

The progress of the Playbook is shown also in the main Launcher view:

How to create Playbooks

Playbooks can be created and managed in the Playbook Editor. You can open it from the Editor menu or by clicking on the Edit icon of any already existing Playbook:

You can add a new Playbook by clicking on the + button in the Editor sidebar or you can use + button in the Playbook Editor:

If you want to add a Journey inside a Playbook, simply hover the wanted Journey in the Playbook Editor and then click on the Add button.

If there are more available Journeys, the scrollbar appears on the right. In case of bigger amount of Journeys, you can also use Search field to find the Journey based on the title.

If you want to remove a Journey that is already inside a Playbook, hover over it and click on the Remove button.

Once you have made a Playbook, it needs to be marked as active before being able to be visible in your version, so make sure it is set to active before creating a new version.
