To create a new dialog, follow the steps below.
Click on the Add icon and choose To add dialog:
Dialog Steps Transitions
- Next Button Click: At runtime, the dialog displays a button labelled Next. The user needs to click on it to close the dialog box and move onto the next Step, if any are available, or end the Journey if there are no more Steps included.
- Timing: At runtime, there is no user action available. After the interval specified in the Timer field, the dialog closes and moves onto the next Step, if any are available, or ends the Journey if there are no more Steps included.
Dialog size
This option enables you to define the size of the dialog displayed to end users when they reach the Step. You can select one of the predefined sizes, or choose the Custom option and specify the size in pixels. The predefined options are:
- S - small dialog size
- M - medium dialog size
- L - large dialog size
- X - extra large dialog size
Visibility tab
In this tab, you can choose to define simple or complex Rules which control when a dialog is displayed or hidden. This functionality works the same way as the Visibility Rules described in other sections. Please check Step Visibility Rules.
Step Action
This feature is the same for regular and dialog steps. Please check this article.
URL tab
This tab provides the URL of the dialog Step, which can be shared with end users to lead them directly to the Journey and that specific dialog Step.
