Relative URLs

Relative URL is a property that can be configured at the Site level. It allows the base part of URL to be ignored when Overlay compares the Journey Step URL with the current page URL. This feature enables the steps to be applicable to a wider range of URLs.


Relative URLs can be turned on at the Site Settings level on Portal:




How it is working


The base part of URL is the part of URL that equals to one of the Site's URLs (it means URLs specified at the Site Details section on Portal).



When Relative URLs functionality is on, the base URL part will be ignored and the Journey step will be applicable to more URLs, for example to both of these URLs below:
